How does private dining work with guests with special dietary requirements?

Private chef Tim Zekki can cater for all different types of dietary requirements such as  vegetarians, vegans, gluten free and various allergies. Please let him know when you enquire about a booking.

How does the private Chef service work?
The private chef will come to your home with one or two staff depending on whether you have a wine flight. He’ll arrive with the ingredients for the dishes that he prepped in the morning, so a lot of the work is already done.  They will, serve, wash up and leave your kitchen looking lovely.

In what areas can I hire a Tim as a private chef?
Tim Zekki is usually booked for private parties in Somerset and Devon, but can come to your home further afield by arrangement. Just ask.

What does a private chef service include?

A private chef service includes everything for you to have a wonderful dining experience. It starts with creating or customisation of a menu, through the purchase of the finest ingredients, the prep or mise en place prior to the service, the cooking of the menu at your home, the table service, stylish crockery and the cleaning up of the kitchen afterwards.

The use of Riedel wine glasses is included if you are also paying for an optional wine flight.

What is the maximum amount of people a private chef can cook for?

There is no maximum number of people. But as a private event is usually for a small group of friends and family in a private home, it tends to be limited only by the seating space you have.

Are drinks included in a for a private dining event?

Drinks are not included generally, although you can opt for a wine flight for a tasting menu.  But if there is something you’d like supplied, just ask and Tim will see if he can help.
